Caving at Jewel!

It may be obvious from the name of my company... but I love science! What you may not know is that I also love the outdoors, and in particular, caving! So a couple of months ago when the National Park Service offered me temporary position as a Physical Science Technician at Jewel Cave National Monument, I couldn't turn it down!

I've been up in South Dakota for about 3 weeks now, and it's been amazing! I'm primarily working on bat conservation and monitoring for my job, but I've had plenty of opportunities for caving, climbing, and hiking in my spare time!

Although I'm taking a brief production sabbatical, Proton Paperie & Press is still open for business! A large part of my inventory is here with me, and whatever is listed in my shop is ready for shipping (until it sells out!). I'm also booking my custom production schedule for the upcoming months, so don't hesitate to get in contact (I work with clients all over the country all the time!!). Although I enjoy working face-to-face, a Skype design consultation is always possible! And I'll be back in the studio in mid-October.

In the mean time, a few pictures of my adventure...
